Assistant Professor of Humanities
PhD, University of Chicago
Mr Huelin received a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and an MA
in Comparative Literature from the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill and a PhD in Religion and Literature from the University
of Chicago. His research interests include literary theory; biblical
hermeneutics; the history of Christian theology, ethics, and spirituality;
and classical, medieval, and Renaissance literature. His published
essays and book reviews have appeared in Religion &
Literature, Christian Scholar's Review, Christianity & Literature,
Christian Reflection, Journal of Religion,
the Cresset, and the Journal
of the National Council of Honors Colleges. He
has just completed a book on the ethics of reading entitled The
Hermeneutics of Hospitality.
