Direct and personal relationships between students and the College faculty create a strong and supportive community that integrates academic learning and engagement in the world. Through a collaborative learning process, students receive preparation for a rich and thoughtful life, responsible vocation, and leadership roles in society and in the Christian community.

What will the first year in Christ College be like?
The Christ College Freshman Program involves a two semester sequence of courses titled Texts and Contexts: Traditions of Human Thought. Students read and discuss classical texts (Aristotle, Genesis, Machiavelli) and modern writers (Flannery O'Connor, Tim O'Brien) who address fundamental human questions. The entire group meets weekly for a common lecture, and five hours per week are spent in discussion groups of fourteen or fewer.
