In Fall 2009 students in Professor Gretchen Buggeln's (left) Christ College seminar "The American Home" studied sixteen houses on McIntyre Court, a block-long, residential neighborhood adjacent to the Valparaiso University campus, as part of their exploration of American domestic architecture and how it shapes and reflects history and culture.
Four senior students from the class offered their findings in an illustrated presentation about the charming, tree-lined, 100-year-old McIntyre Court neighborhood. Student speakers were: Hannah Johnson '10, Kathryn Kattalia '10 (right), John Linstrom '10 and Kati Schmidt '10. Dozens of McIntyre Court residents attended the presentation.
