A group of especially distinguished alumni and friends serve as members of the Christ College National council, which was established in 2001. This group reviews Christ College planning documents and advises the Dean on strategic issues. Members (alumni drawn largely from the advisory board and friends of the honors college) have committed themselves to substantial levels of financial support. National Council members attend a two-day meeting, including a discussion with the University President. Alumni are eligible for membership ten years after graduation.
