Biography

Nathan Carson's research centers on contemporary Neo-Aristotelian virtue ethic and moral psychology, with secondary interests in Soren Kierkegaard and Friedrich Nietzsche. He earned his PhD in Philosophy from Baylor University. He has presented papers on Kierkegaard's epistemology and Alasdair MacIntyre's moral philosophy. His article "Passionate Epistemology: Kierkegaard on Skepticism, Approximate Knowledge and Higher Existential Truth" is scheduled to be published in the Journal of Chinese Philosophy Winter 2013. He teaches "The Christian Tradition" as well as in the Christ College Freshman Program.
