![]() | Stephanie JohnsonVisiting Assistant Professor of Humanities and EnglishMueller Hall Room 126 BiographyStephanie Johnson received her BA in English and Religion from St. Olaf College, her MA in English from the University of Minnesota, and her PhD in English from the University of Washington. A former Lilly Fellow at Valparaiso, she previously taught at the University of Puget Sound. Her research and teaching interests include nineteenth- and twentieth-century British literature, women’s devotional poetry, and narrative ethics. She has published on Elizabeth Barrett Browning in Victorian Poetry, where an article on Christina Rossetti is also forthcoming. She is completing a second article on Rossetti and a book manuscript that examines the ethical implications of the literary epiphany in women’s literature since 1800. She serves as Christ College Coordinator of Student Scholarship in 2009-2010. |
