![]() | Julien SmithAssistant Professor of Humanities and TheologyMueller Hall Room 126 BiographyJulien Smith received his BA from the University of California at Berkeley in French and Slavic Languages and Literature and a PhD in Religion from Baylor University. His scholarly interests center on Biblical texts and traditions. He has written and presented papers on a variety of New Testament and apocryphal subjects and texts, including Ephesians, Acts, Galatians, the Epistle of Barnabas, and IV Maccabees. His most recent publication is entitled "The Rhetorical Function of Refutation in Acts 6-7 and 10-15" in Contemporary Studies in Acts (Mercer UP, 2009). He currently teaches The Christian Tradition and in the CC Freshman Program. |
