On October 29, 1964, a committee appointed by Valparaiso University President O.P. Kretzmann met for the first time to begin planning the new honors college. Every year on October 29 CC students celebrate with a submarine sandwich and CC cookies. One foot of sub sandwich marks a year since the original meeting. This year we had a 42 foot sub!
