Life in Valparaiso’s honors college is much more than classes and papers. Christ College students form a lively, engaged community that becomes involved in College social activities, both planned and informal. At the annual college picnic, entering students meet their upper class siblings, who introduce them to CC and campus life.
Student activities are also sponsored by the CC Student Advisory Board, which meets regularly with the dean and plans activities such as game nights, coffee house nights, and cultural outings to Chicago. On campus, Christ College students are among the most active leaders in every area of campus life: arts, music, and theater; religious and social service groups; intramural and athletics; Union Board activities; and social organizations of many types. Many students are also involved in community, regional, and national organizations that complement their studies and prepare them for life beyond college.
Christ College also supports student academic interests within CC as well as their other majors with funding supported by the CC Dean's Annual Fund for research to allow them to attend conferences and other activities on and off campus.
