The Chinese community at Valparaiso University is growing with each passing year. We have more and more Chinese international students coming to Valpo to obtain both undergraduate and master's degrees. A variety of activities are available for students to get involved in.


Noodle Hours:
The Chinese noodle lunch is the most popular of Chinese events. It is held every Monday morning at 11:00 am in Huegli Hall. It is a free lunch open to anyone with interest in Chinese, and it is frequently attended by many Chinese international students, offering many opportunities for students to practice their Chinese language skills.

One-on-one Tutoring:
Many Chinese international students offer Chinese language lessons several times a week to interested students. Not only is it a great way to obtain one-on-one language interaction, but it is also a great way to make new friends.
