Valparaiso University's China Center is pleased to announce that it will offer two summer courses and three internship programs in Hangzhou, China, in summer 2006. The two courses are open to all majors. The internship programs are open to business/communication/ICP majors only. Students who are interested in the program should complete the pre-registration application form on the back of this sheet and return it to Prof. Lin ASAP, as space is limited.

Course Offerings (students can take one or both courses):

- MGT440/EA390/ICP620, Cross-Cultural Management, Cr. 3, Prof. Stück (Business Administration). May be used to fulfill the Global Cultures and Perspective component of the general education requirement. Prerequisite: Junior standing.

There will be four full weeks of classes with several group field trips. The program will end with a four-day visit to Beijing, the capital of China before returning to Chicago.

Cost. All participants will be responsible for regular VU summer tuition (based on the number of the credit hours taken), international travel (about $950), meals (about $150-$200), and a $100 study center fee to cover visa application and travel insurance. The China Center will pay for the three-day trip to Shanghai, four-day trip to Beijing, and the rooms in Hangzhou (four weeks).
