All requests for seating accommodations need to be made by Monday, May 6, 2013.
Special seating for the Baccalaureate Service:
For special seating in the Chapel for the Baccalaureate Service, call 219.464.6800 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name, phone number, email address, and special need when making the request. Guests with special needs may be dropped off at the Chapel entrance for the Baccalaureate Service. Seating begins at 9 a.m.
Special seating for the commencement ceremony:
Individuals requiring special seating tickets for guests using wheelchairs or with other needs will be given general admission tickets at the Union Welcome Desk. Two general admission tickets need to be exchanged for special seating tickets at the Integrated Marketing and Communications office, Harre Union LL60 (basement level). A parking pass and additional information will be included with those tickets. Due to limited space, only one family member may sit with the person who qualifies for special seating.
Guests with special seating tickets for the commencement ceremony are asked to arrive by noon at the northeast entrance to the Athletics-Recreation Center for advanced seating. Seating for all other guests with general admission tickets begins at 12:30 p.m.
Special seating in the Athletics-Recreation Center is on the ground level and separated from the majority of general admission seating. Seating for general admission is first-come, first-served. There will be no reserved seats.
A sign language interpreter will be present at both the Baccalaureate and Conferring of Degrees as a service for guests who have impaired hearing. Individuals taking advantage of this service should inform an usher as they enter the Chapel or the ARC.
