Valparaiso University's Graduate School, in partnership with Lutheran Volunteer Corps, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod World Mission, Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Global Mission, and Border Servant Corps will allow each program volunteer with a bachelor’s degree and who have completed at least one year of service to earn up to 6 credits of internship, independent study, or elective credit towards select Valparaiso University graduate programs.
Receiving credit for volunteer service represents the equivalent of a scholarship of up to $3,450 for Master of Arts, Master of Science, and Master of Education programs, up to $1,965 for Master’s or Doctorate Nursing programs, and up to $4,194 for the MBA program.
Students will also have the opportunity to be selected as a graduate intern or receive other assistantship support in order to earn supplemental income to pay for education expenses.
