CIVU’s Chinese Immersion Program, 2011
This summer, Valparaiso University and CIVU hosted the first Chinese Immersion Program for High School students from around the world. American, Mongolian, and Pakistani students spent three weeks studying the Chinese language and learning Chinese culture. There were tutorials, hands-on activities, as well as fun and cultural trips to Chinatown in Chicago. Read more about this fantastic learning experience!

Hosted by the CIVU and the MACS program of VU, the speech contest took place on Mar. 29, 2009. More than 50 students from 5 high schools in the Indiana-Illinois Region participated.
