College of Adult Scholars

CASc StudentsA Special Place for Adult Students at Valpo
The College of Adult Scholars is a special program for highly motivated adult students, starting or returning to college to seek a first or second degree, on a part-time basis.  The College has its own mission, students, and tuition structure.

Experience the Valpo Advantage
In Valpo's College of Adult Scholars, you'll discover the best of two worlds-the benefits of becoming part of a residential learning community where the daily hum of intellectual, cultural, artistic, and athletic life never completely ceases-and the conviences you'd expect as a person juggling multiple responsibilities of family work, and education. You'll be assigned an academic adviser who understands your special needs, and you'll be pleased with the simplified admission process and the ease of online registration.  In fact, because the College of Adult Scholars makes education of adult learners its sole business, you'll discover you occupy something of a special place where classroom conversation values life experience along with intellectual curiosity, a solid grounding in the issues, and professional and personal development.
