SEMI-ANNUAL WRITING WORKSHOP
The Semi-Annual Writing Workshop provides instruction and review of the APA and MLA writing styles and formats. This workshop typically convenes in late September (Fall) and late January/early February (Winter) each year, and consists of 4-5 hrs of intense writing instruction, offered by VU faculty.

Materials

To use as a reference guide during your graduate studies, you may want to purchase APA Manual or A Pocket Style Manual at the University Book Center. You may call them at 219-464-5421. YOU MUST BRING a writing sample that contains one paragraph of at least eight lines and be 2-3 pages in length. The sample should make a clear point, support an idea or thesis, or make a clear argument.
