This is can be considered quite the milestone in a college student’s life & we want to help you celebrate-responsibly! No matter how you choose to celebrate, we hope you strive to be safe and responsible throughout the night.
21st birthdays are often tied to drinking and, occasionally, negative consequences due to high-risk behavior. The Office of Alcohol and Drug Education is working to help our students navigate these types of celebrations by instituting the 21st Birthday Program. A student will receive an email from our office during the week of their 21st birthday that includes helpful tips and resources to make their birthday both fun AND safe. These students will also have an opportunity to pick up a small gift from our office just by stopping by and presenting their ID at the front desk!
