USE CAREER CENTER SERVICES AND EVENTS FOR RECRUITING

The Career Center offers a variety of services and events for employers seeking talented Valpo candidates.

Search for a Review Student Resumes Online

Experience eRecruiting, an online database, allows employers to search for students by class, major, GPA, and other selected criteria. Employers may also contact students directly to explore their qualifications and suitability for available positions.

Post Available Jobs

Experience also allows employers to post available internships, part-time, and full-time positions, as well as to collect resumes, cover letters, and other specified materials electronically. In addition, our Job Opportunities Bulletin (JOB) gives employers opportunities to post available positions both electronically and in hard copy.

Host Pre-Recruitment Events

Increase on-campus visibility by presenting to student organizations, hosting information sessions, or doing video interviews.

Interview Job Candidates on Campus

On-campus recruiting takes place in October and November, and January through April. Employers post job descriptions and desired qualifications on Experience, then students with suitable qualifications sign up for interviews and submit their resumes online. Employers are able to view the resumes, select students to interview, and schedule interviews electronically.

Participate in the Career Fair

This highly visible event offers excellent opportunities for employers to connect with Valpo students on a one-to-one basis and establish a strong presence on campus. Held annually in September, the Career Fair is open to employers, non-profits, government agencies, and graduate schools. All Valpo undergraduates are invited to attend.

On February 1, 2008, the Indiana Crusader Connection will host an Indiana Internship and Career Fair for Indiana employers. Consider joining us for this important event.
