Dr. Michael P. Ford, professor of reading education at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh has extensively researched effective reading strategies, flexible grouping, literature circles, and focused readers workshop. Ford has coauthored several best selling books, that include Do-Able Differentiation, Where Have All the Bluebirds Gone, and Books and Beyond. He has also written over forty professional articles for publications such as The Reading Teacher, Language Arts, Reading Today, and the Learning Disabilities Forum.
