Howard J. Claussen joined DuPont in 1955 and held a variety of positions in
engineering, technology and management with increasing responsibility. He
retired from DuPont in 1994. He is an honorary member of the Board of the
American Chamber, London England, and an emeritus member of the Valparaiso
University Board of Directors. Claussen is active in church and civic activities
including Lutheran Community Services, Habitat for Humanity and the
Hagley Museum. He won the VU Distinguished Alumni Award in 1984.
