He was manager of DC10/B777 engineering from 1991 to 1995, during the development and introduction of the B777 aircraft. He managed an engineering maintenance business unit from 1995 to 2000. The business unit operated with a budget of $61M and included mechanics, engineers, planners and purchasers.
