Notes:
The courses of study suggested above apply to students entering the College
of Engineering in August 2003 or later. Students who have begun their
studies in earlier years should consult their academic advisor for the
plan that fits their class status.
Cooperative Education:
GE 481 through GE 483 may be used to satisfy the Free elective requirement.
Mathematics/Science Elective:
This elective requirement may be met with additional courses from Biology,
Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or Decision Science
205.
Mechanical Engineering Electives:
Twelve credits of Mechanical Engineering courses are selected to provide
areas of individual study emphasis. Up to three credits may be substituted
for students taking an approved technical concentration outside the College
of Engineering. Courses that fulfill mechanical engineering elective requirements
are indicated with a superscript in the University Bulletin.
