Valparaiso University College of Engineering Magazine App
The Valparaiso University College of Engineering Magazine app for iPad, iPhone, and Droid has reached a significant milestone in less than one year. Since the original iPad app release in November 2011, the app has been downloaded over 500 times. Additionally, the app has been downloaded by people in 31 countries around the world, from such remote places as China, Russia, Thailand, and Ethiopia.
The app was designed by recent Valparaiso University mechanical engineering graduate Michael Phelps and Valpo graduate Cameron Banga, co-founders of 9magnets LLC. Designed to be an attractive way to keep in touch with current students, faculty, alumni, and friends of the university, the application offers flexibility in presenting in-depth stories, exciting videos, and beautiful photo galleries. The app has a cutting-edge digital media design and an intuitive interface, allowing individuals to be connected with the University and the College of Engineering.
"The app has been an excellent way for future students and alumni to keep up-to-date on all the exciting activities of The College of Engineering students and faculty," says Valpo Mechanical Engineering Professor Scott Duncan. "We couldn't be happier with the positive feedback we have received from the myriad of our app users."
The Valparaiso University College of Engineering Magazine for iPad, iPhone, and Droid is available at no cost in the iTunes App Store and on Google Play.
