The Department of English is proud to announce a new M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. 

As the demand for instruction in English grows internationally and in the United States, this program of study equips students to teach in an increasingly global and multicultural world.

A 15-credit TESOL certificate is already offered by the Graduate School, and will continue to be offered.

But for students who would like to expand on the curriculum taught in the certificate program, the TESOL master's degree allows for a greater scope of study and more recognizable accreditation.
