Rev. WrightRev. Dr. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr., is the dynamic pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, the largest United Church of Christ congregation in the country with nearly 10,000 members. He is deeply active in civil rights issues in Chicago, and was recently ranked second in Ebony magazine's list of the 15 greatest black preachers.

Rev. Wright became pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in February 1972. He has since been committed to Trinity UCC motto of "Unahamedy Black and Unapologetically Christian."

Pastor Wright holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary, Master's degrees from Howard University and the University of Chicago, and three honorary doctoral degrees. He has published four books and numerous articles, and has lectured at many seminaries and universities across the nation.
