The Christus Rex

The crucifix in the chancel, “Christus Rex” or “Christ the King,” is distinctive in that it depicts Christ on the cross but with arms uplifted symbolizing both Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection. The bronze sculptured Christus Rex was designed by David Elder, formerly a member of the University’s art faculty.
