Valparaiso University and CitiBank have established a loan program for VU students that features a low interest rate and no fees. The student is the borrower, and parents are usually co-borrowers if a co-signer is needed.

•Full or part-time students can borrow up to their cost of attendance less other aid.
•Can be as low as prime + 0%.
•Option to defer principal and interest.
•No origination, guarantee or repayment fees.
•Can cover past due balances up to one year later.

Students who already have loans through other lenders may want to continue with that lender.
