Payment options
- Contact the Office of Student Accounts for more information about payments. Call (888) 300-1052 or email student.accounts@valpo.edu
- Standard Payment – One half of direct costs are billed before each semester and payable before the semester begins.
- Tuition Pay (formerly AMS) – Interest free payment plans over 10, 11, or 12 months for a $55 annual fee. Interactive planning tools at their web site.
- Valpo Alternate Payment Plan – When the semester bill is received, students may pay one-third of the balance due, and the remainder by October 31 for fall semester, and February 28 for spring semester with no finance charges or interest. Specific information is enclosed with the semester billing statement.
- The following options are now available to make a payment on your student account:
- Web Payment Gateway – Accessible from DataVU to make a payment using your credit card or checking/savings account.
- Telephone payments using toll free numbers –

- Mail or bring a personal check to the Valpo Cashier in the Student Account Office
- The web and telephone systems have two payment options available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You may choose Credit/Debit card payments (a 2.5% convenience fee will be charged) or Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments using your checking or savings account (no convenience fee).
- MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit/debit cards can be accepted. Credit/Debit card payments can only be accepted using the web or telephone service and can no longer be accepted at the cashier's window or student account office. Please note that VISA credit/debit cards can no longer be accepted for student account payments.
- Loans – For parents, or additional student loans. More information under Loan Programs.
