A complete listing of endowed scholarships may be
found in the financial aid section of VU's catalog. The Office of
Financial Aid selects recipients in cooperation with the Office
of Institutional Advancement and other offices. Most endowed scholarships
help to fund Valpo awards and scholarships. No separate application
is required, except for the scholarships listed below and elsewhere
in the scholarship section of this web site. Students should contact
the indicated department, the Office of Financial Aid, or consult
the catalog for further information about the following scholarships.
Datatel Scholars Foundation Scholarships. Sponsored by Datatel
Inc., Valpo's administrative software provider, for eligible students
attending a Datatel client university. Students may apply at
http://www.datatel.com
and go to Scholars Foundation. Valpo will then nominate students
who apply. Application period is in December/January for the following
school year.
Guild Scholarships These are for qualifying dependents of
VU Guild members. Apply through the Guild Office or use their
on-line
form.

Guild Cookbook Scholarship
Indiana Minority Teacher and Special Education Services Scholarship
Program. Administered by the State Student Assistance Commission
of Indiana. Applications available in the Office of Financial Aid.
Indiana Nursing Scholarship Fund Program. Administered by
the State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana. Applications
available in the Office of Financial Aid.
James S. Kemper Foundation Scholarship. The Dean of the College
of Business distributes applications to eligible students currently
enrolled in that college and selects recipients.
