What should you know about financial aid at Valpo?

• 90% of first-time students receive financial aid, with $42 million awarded annually.
• The average financial award package includes scholarships, grants, loans, and campus employment.
• Valpo offers more than 20 academic scholarship programs and awards for students with special academic talents, interests, abilities, or backgrounds. Academic-based scholarships range up to full tuition.
• By completing the financial aid estimator form, you can estimate the financial aid package for which you might qualify
• Illinois residents who would qualify for the Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) grant may receive the VU Illinois Neighbor Grant (file the FAFSA to apply).
• Valpo guarantees at least on-campus room and board through federal, insititutional, or private grants for Indiana residents who receive the Lilly Foundation Scholarship through their county foundations.
