Founders Scholarship
•Full Tuition
Board of Directors
•$16,000
Additional Selection Criteria (Founders Scholarship & Board of Directors)
•Entering freshmen only; selected from an extremely competitive pool by VU staff and faculty.
•Must be an exceptional fit for Valparaiso University in all aspects of life-academically, spiritually, socially, and extra-curricular.
•Student must have a commitment to leadership and service to both church and society.
Application Process
• Be an early action candidate
• Submit a completed admission application with required materials by November 1, 2005
• Application for scholarship is by invitation only and is due January 20, 2006
• Interview required for final candidates
Notification
• Invitation to apply: December 20, 2005
• Award Notification: March 1, 2006

Presidential Scholarship/International Presidential
•$7,000 - $12,000
Additional Selection Criteria
•Entering freshmen only
•Based upon highest composite test score (ACT or SAT) and academic GPA (only English, math, science, social studies, and foreign language courses)
Application Process
• All admitted freshmen students will have their files automatically reviewed for scholarship consideration
Notification
•2-3 weeks after acceptance


Achievement Scholarship/International Achievement
•$4,000 - $5,000

•Entering freshmen only
•Based upon highest composite test score (ACT or SAT) and academic GPA (only English, math, science, social studies, and foreign language courses)
