A complete listing of endowed scholarships may be found in the financial aid section of Valpo's catalog. The Office of Financial Aid selects recipients in cooperation with the Office of Institutional Advancement and other offices. Most endowed scholarships help to fund Valpo awards and scholarships. No separate application is required, except for the scholarships listed below and elsewhere in the scholarship section of this web site. Students should contact the indicated department, the Office of Financial Aid, or consult the catalog for further information about the following scholarships.
Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFROTC)
- Up to $15000 for tuition and fees, and a book and monthly stipend
- At Valpo, recipients will also receive enough aid from all sources, to provide at least the standard on-campus room and board costs.
- Scholarships for selected students in AFROTC program. Contact AFROTC for more information.
- Must apply to ROTC by Dec. 1

- Up to 100% of tuition and fees, and a book and monthly stipend

- Valpo Guild Past National Officer's Endowed Scholarship
- Guild Cookbook Scholarship
- These are for qualifying dependents of Valpo Guild members.
- Apply on-line through the Guild Office.
Athletic Awards
- Amount varies by sport - we have 18 NCAA Division 1 Sport Teams
- Individual coaches offer to recruits.
- Football and Track are non-scholarship sports
- Renewal: NCAA rules
- Full tuition, fees and book stipend.
- Must be an Indiana resident attending an Indiana High School.
- Selected by community foundations in Indiana.
- At Valpo, recipients will also receive enough aid from all sources, to provide at least the standard on-campus room and board costs.

National Merit Scholarships
- National Merit Finalists not receiving a corporate scholarship and designating Valpo as first choice. New finalists for 2008 will receive at least $14,500 in total VU scholarship awards
- Student will be contacted by sponsoring agency for an application
- Will receive notification in Early March by the Office of Financial Aid
- Renewal: Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress
American Mathematical Competition (AMC) Scholarship
- For qualifying undergraduates who have declared a math major
- Must have received above a 100 on the AMC12 their junior year in high school
- $1,000, non-renewable
