The intramural official may serve in a number of capacities within the intramural program. The main responsibilities of the intramural official will be to learn an effectively apply the rules of the sports program to which they are assigned and to insure compliance with the guides to participation for recreational sports programs. All officials will be involved in a training program including organization meeting, clinic, practice games and a rules interpretations quiz to prepare them to officiate

Knowledge of sports rules and regulations 

Previous experience in sports officiating helpful but not required.
