"Die Hilfsquelle" is a collection of on-line German
language resources created to help students of German in their quest
for linguistic fluency, cultural savvy, and general intellectual betterment.
Some of the resources here have been designed specifically for my
students at Valparaiso University; others have a broader scope. Anyone
interested in improving his or her German is welcome to use any of
the resources found here. Viel Spaß beim Lernen!
- Brecht Psalms
A
website which introduces learners to a few of the poems Brecht
called "psalms."
- German Etymologies
A
tutorial designed to teach students of German how to use etymologies
to enhance vocabulary acquisition and retention.
Turkish-German Poems
This website is a companion to my 2002 IFLTA conference
presentation entitled "'Multikulti': Turkish-German Poems
for the Beginning and Intermediate Classrooms."
