Major & Minor Requirements


The French Major:  27 credits
Complete a major with 9 or 10 classes beyond French 203. Required classes include French 204, French 220, 3 courses in the French Texts and Society series, and Senior French Seminar.  Take elective courses both at Valpo and in France.

The French Minor
:  16 credits
Students take French Composition and Conversation (FLF 204) and Approaches to French Literature (FLF 220), plus enough elective credits to total at least 16 credit hours. At least one course (three credits) must be 300-level or higher.
