French House

French HouseAnother rich on-campus opportunity for language immersion is living in La maison française

Living in the French House means that you'll:

• Have the opportunity to speak French in an intentional immersion environment.
• Prepare and share daily evening meals with your fellow residents.
• Interact with the native-speaker Program Assistant.
• Help promote French culture on campus.

In addition, you can prepare yourself for study abroad or continue your language immersion after you return from France as a member of this learning community.  Here, you'll have the chance to practice your French on a daily basis with the native-speaker PA and fellow residents.  And you'll meet and talk with other native French speakers on campus.  But the cross-cultural experiences don't end there:  The French House is located in the "World Language Village" wing of Wehrenberg Hall, home to the Spanish House as well as incoming exchange students from many countries.
