You'll take great classes


This advanced writing class exchanged letters with students in Burkina Faso.  In a media class, students created a video to introduce French exchange students to Valpo.  And senior seminar students prepared and enjoyed a medieval banquet.

You'll find many opportunities for enrichment and community-building at home and abroad.

You'll live in a community


French students Ariana and Abdoulaye came to Valpo last fall from one of our partner universities in France.   Both got to know Valpo students through French House & French Club events and provided conversation practice in intermediate classes.

You'll graduate with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed professionally and to pursue any number of careers in a variety of professional fields.

Emily majored in French & Biology and recently visited campus to talk about her experiences teaching English in France.  She is now enrolled in medical school and is considering working for Médecins sans frontières (Doctors Without Borders).
