Ali DeVries is combining majors in French and International Service and has found that her extracurricular opportunities have helped to sharpen her career focus.  Teaching French to elementary-school kids and tutoring Valpo French students has led her to think about English-language teaching as a career.  She appreciates the French courses she has taken:  "the VU French program has courses that are relevant and interesting, where you continue learning the language through learning about the different aspects of the rich culture of France."
