When Tabitha isn’t scoring points for the varsity women’s basketball team, she spends her time mastering both French and Spanish.  As a French major, Tabitha is interested in finding ways to use her French skills outside the classroom, particularly in hands-on ways such as with the Peace Corps.  She also genuinely appreciates the interaction with native French speakers on campus: “As a freshman, I met weekly with a 3rd year student from Paris and I really learned a lot from her (and had some fun too!).”

"Valpo's Language Resource Center provides some great opportunities and tools for learning French -- access to TV channels from countries like France, massive dictionaries, board games, and music.  It is a great place to study or relax between classes." -- Tabitha

• Tabitha is not only a member of Valpo's basketball team, but is also in Christ College.
