Student Profile: Zach

I choose Valpo...

because it is lets me combine my academic, career, and long-term interests in practical ways.

Intl. Business and German

After his high school study abroad experience in Frankfurt, Zach Nelson plunged right into "things German" at Valpo in the freshman year. A member of the executive board of the German Club, Zach lived in the German House sophomore year. He spent an exciting year in Tübingen taking courses and working as an intern for "_pcs Training and Consulting" in Tübingen. He enjoyed his time in Germany so much that he decided to stay an extra year! He is currently an intern in the International Studies Office at the Hochschule Reutlingen.

"With an AACSB-accredited College of Business and a German program designated by the AATG as one of only two 'German Centers of Excellence' in the country, how could I go wrong? My internship in Germany is a perfect example of how my two majors work together to prepare me for my future professional life."
