Language Resource Center
asbThe Language Resource Center provides tutoring and other resources for language study as well as opportunities for authentic language use through conversation programs, enrichment activities and other exchanges.  The LRC is now housed in a brand new facility, located in the Arts and Sciences Building, and will open its doors for the first time this fall.  Students will discover a welcoming setting with a global focus where all Valpo language learners, including international students, can cultivate intercultural understanding and connections.
The LRC is located in the new Arts & Sciences Building.  Above the entrance is the "light screen" anchored by the University's moto in Latin: In luce tua videmus lucem, "In Thy Light, We See Light." The word for "light" creates the body of the screen, representing 43 languages, including those languages taught in the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and supported by the LRC.
