College of Adult Scholars
Student Orientation

To increase your chance of successful academic study, the Office of Graduate Studies & Continuing Education conducts a special orientation for new College of Adult Scholar students. Mark your calendar for Satruday, August 23rd. The Colleg of Adult Scholar Orientation will take place in the Squire Room of the Valparaiso University Union from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

This orientation will acquaint you with the many programs and services offered by the University and the Continuing Education Office. It also offers the opportunity to ask questions, resolve problems, and meet other students in the program. As part of the program, we provide you with the Student Handbook, the College of Adult Scholars Information Guide, and other necessary materials for a smooth transition to VU. If you haven't already done so, you will obtain your student I.D., activate your library card, obtain a parking sticker, and learn to access the computer network through your own account.

IMPORTANT: All new College of Adult Scholar students must attend this orientation. As a first time student at VU you will need to confirm your registration at this session to remain enrolled in your spring coursework. Confirmation after this date results in a $40 late fee.

Please RSVP your attendance with the Office of Graduate Studies & Continuing Education by Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 219.464.5313, toll free at 1.800.821 .7685 or email us at Continuing.Ed@valpo.edu.
