Financial Aid
The first step to applying for financial aid is to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To learn more about the FAFSA, you can go to their website at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. This is the federal form that all students must file in order to be considered for financial aid programs. There is no fee to apply for federal student aid. Applications may be obtained from either the Office of Continuing Education or the Financial Aid Office of the University.
Some adult students may also qualify to receive a Pell Grant (a grant that is an award that does not have to be repaid).
Adult students are required to take six (6) credits a semester to qualify for financial aid and/or a Pell Grant.
To learn more about financial aid, contact the Office of Financial Aid by phone at 1-888-GO-VALPO (1-888-468-2576), by email at finaid@valpo.edu, or through their website at http://www.valpo.edu/finaid/.
