What's New?

10/28/09 The review sheet for the 2nd midterm exam has been posted.

9/27/09 The updated review sheet has been posted. Sorry for the delay.

9/1/09 The web site is uddated for this semester. Be sure that you do your reading for our discussion on Globalization and the financial crisis.

8/26/09 As you can see, by the fact that there's sand from Australia behind this text on a web site with a Las Vegas theme, I'm still in the middle of updating the web site for this semester. It's kind of like moving into an apartment while they're still painting the walls. I hope to have it done by week's end (or on the weekend). The syllabus and schedule are up to date as are our first two discussions. You should read the Geography of Breakfast for this week's discussion.

Welcome to GEO 101 World Human Geography! Take some time and familiarize yourself with this website. Start with the online discussion manual. Be sure you can find the assignments and readings for the discussions. Links to discussions are also available via the schedule page. It might be a good idea to print out a copy of the schedule and post it in a place where you can easily check it. Also check out the lecture outlines that you can print out for note taking in class. I hope you enjoy exploring the world with me this semester in World Human Geography! I have also started a page of Frequently Asked Questions that I will add to as we go along along with some information about majoring in geography.
