  • What should be produced at what level?
  • How should it be produced?
  • Where should it be produced?
  • Who should recieve what share of production?

The Geography of Factors of Production

  • Labor (manual, entrepreneurial skill, etc.)
  • Capital (Land, money capital, raw materials etc.)
  • Rent, wages, interest, profits
  • Production Functions (if time)

 

Assignment for Wednesday

  • Read pp. 33-46. Make sure you have a basic understanding of the following concepts: feudalism, market, commodity, barter, uneven spatial development, nation-state. Note that we will not discuss this reading in class, but will discuss it at a later date.
