Come to class with a basic familiarity with the following concepts and ideas: public policy, enviornmental policy, the tragedy of the commons, free riders, regulatory taking, Silent Spring, Earth Day, NEPA, Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), EPA, Command-and-control policies, subsidy, green taxes, cap and trade(marketable emissions perimits)
