Come to class with a basic familiarity with the following concepts and ideas: the greenhouse effect, visible light, ultraviolet radiation, infrared radiation, radiative forcing, greenhouse gasses including: carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, chlorofluorocarbons, ozone. Aerosols and anti-greenhouse gasses.
