Reading Notes: What is multifunctionalism and how might it be a better way of describing agriculture than post-productivism? How have agricultural landscapes taken on important ecological functions? Should poicies to eliminate agricultural subsidies and marginal producers be implemented? Are payments to farmers subsidies or payments for services? Is commodifying nature's "use values" a good way to preserve the rural landscape?
