April 7, 2009 Additional guidelines for the Culture and Identity assignment have been posted. Class outlines have been updated through the end of the Culture and Identity seciton of the course.

March 4, 2009 The schedule page has been updated with corrected links to next week's readings.

February 5, 2009 The course schedule has been altered to account for our snow day. I have also posted the Economic Development and Enviornment Assignment.

January 29, 2009 Several items to take note of:

• I've posted the Demographic Aspects of Rural Change Assignment.
• If you're around during Spring Break, Merle Haggard, a classic country performer whose songs are mentioned frequently in "Real Country" will be playing at DC's on March 4th. Of course you can always hear classic country there any Saturday night.
