This sample four-year curriculum is just one possible plan for a student majoring in geography. You need not take the particular selection of geography courses shown here. You may, in fact, take these and/or several others. Also, the slots shown as electives represent courses for your minor or second major in addition to truly elective courses. You may also choose to pursue your foreign language training beyond a second semester or to spend a semester abroad/off campus at one of VU's foreign study centers or on the Chicago Urban Semester. To put is simply, a great many options exist, and there may be no "typical" four-year plan.
